When you view a video in your Web browser, the Flash Player tool uses a technique called buffering to halt the playback of the video until enough of the necessary data is loaded. With Mac OS X Snow Leopard, you can adjust the local Flash storage settings to change the way the tool buffers video content.
1.
Launch your Web browser and go to the page that contains the Flash video you want to watch.

Right-click anywhere on the video player and select 'Settings' from the menu that appears.

Select the 'Local Storage' tab in the pop-up menu.
4.
Move the slider to the right to increase the amount of data Flash Player stores on your Mac. This will decrease the amount of buffering Flash Player performs.
5.
Move the slider to the left to decrease the amount of data Flash Player stores. This will increase the amount of buffering Flash Player performs.
6.
Click 'Close' to save the Flash Player settings.
